Streeteyes was a participatory photography project conducted with the residents of the Green Bamboo Shelter, a refuge for former street kids in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Edited by and under the direction of documentary photographer Quinn Ryan Mattingly, each young photographer used a Holga camera and black and white film. They were asked to create a self portrait by double exposing their face and their name found somewhere in the city, then told to finish the roll by capturing whatever they found interesting. What resulted was a visual exploration of the streets of Saigon through the eyes of its young residents.

Each photographer's portrait is followed by three of their best images.

The collection was recently exhibited in Saigon and all the prints were sold to raise money for each photographer and their family.
